Course Tailor does not deliver training. We prepare everything a trainer needs to deliver a course well, and then we walk your trainer through it on a call. The process is the same for a half-day workshop and for a programme that runs over several weeks. You approve the plan and the price before we write any material.
1. Consultation
We start with a conversation about what you need: who the learners are, what they need to be able to do after the course, what they already know, how much time is available, and whether the course will be delivered in person, online or both. Where possible we also speak to the trainer who will deliver it. This takes about an hour and there is no charge.
2. Proposal
We send you a written proposal containing the course outline, the recommended format and length, what the materials package will include, the number of briefing calls, and a fixed price. If you want changes, we revise it.
3. Materials
Once you approve the proposal, we write the full course. What we produce depends on the format. For in-person delivery that means slides, printed workbooks, exercise sheets and a trainer’s guide with timings. For online delivery it means screen-ready slides, session plans for each call, breakout activities, polls and quizzes, and guidance on recording. You review a draft before it is finalised.
4. Trainer briefing
We then hold one or more video calls with your trainer, depending on the length of the course. We go through the materials section by section: the purpose of each part, how to run each exercise, how long each part takes, what participants usually find difficult, and how to adapt on the day. The trainer leaves the call ready to deliver.
5. Support and review
During the first delivery we are available by email or a short call if questions come up. Afterwards we collect feedback from you and the trainer and update the materials if anything needs changing.
